Due to the impact of Typhoon Bavi, and to ensure the safety of all guests and staff, the "5th Anniversary Opening – Summer Matsuri Festival", originally scheduled for Friday, July 10, 2026, will be postponed to Friday, July 17, 2026.

To celebrate the 5th anniversary of its opening in Taiwan, Hotel Metropolitan Premier Taipei will host the "Summer Matsuri" Carnival Event on July 17. Inspired by the traditional summer festivals of Japan's Tohoku region, the event features a variety of attractions including festival food, yukata experiences, goldfish scooping, children's DIY workshops, and Japanese sake tasting, creating a one-day-only authentic Japanese summer festival experience.

A wide selection of Japanese festival delicacies will be available, including Yokote Yakisoba, Truffle Wagyu Burgers, Unagi Futomaki Rolls, Grilled Beef Tongue Skewers, Japanese Kakigori Shaved Ice, Ramune Soda, and YEBISU Draft Beer. Guests can also enjoy cultural activities such as Yukata Dressing Experience, Goldfish Scooping, Pinball Games, Ring Toss, and Summer Fan DIY Workshops.
